Legendary college football coach Nick Saban is adjusting to retirement after an illustrious career with Alabama football. Saban, who won seven national championships, including six during his time with the Crimson Tide, officially retired on Jan. 10. Now, he is learning how to navigate everyday tasks like sending emails, picking up prescriptions, and even proper table etiquette.

In an interview with ESPN, Saban shared that his wife, Miss Terry, gave him “The Ten Commandments of Retirement” just one day after he announced his retirement. One of the key rules included waiting for his wife to join him at the dinner table and leaving a little food on his plate to be polite, especially when dining out.

Miss Terry also revealed that Saban is adjusting to technology basics, such as texting and reading emails. She mentioned that he even sent his first-ever email and proudly picked up his first prescription from the pharmacy.

Despite his retirement, Saban will still be involved in the football program in a supportive role. Additionally, he will join ESPN’s “College GameDay” as a panelist later this year.

While Saban transitions to life at home, his legacy in college football remains strong. Stay tuned for more updates on Saban’s retirement journey.
