Stewart shared that this year she dedicated time to growing “monster vegetables” that have surpassed any she has grown before. Despite her busy schedule, Stewart also mentioned that she is currently working on her autobiography, a project that she finds daunting as it forces her to confront aspects of herself that she may not always like.

Known for her impeccable work ethic, Stewart revealed that she starts her day early at 6:30 am and never misses a beat, ensuring she is up before her housekeeper arrives at 7 am. She admitted to being a bad sleeper, often finding solace in reading the headlines to ease any anxieties, especially concerning her grandchildren’s safety.

Reflecting on her career journey, Stewart shared that leaving her job on Wall Street to pursue a career as a caterer was a pivotal moment that led her to explore other avenues, ultimately leading to her success as a lifestyle expert. She expressed a desire to leave a lasting legacy beyond just being known for throwing parties.

Despite her numerous accomplishments, Stewart admitted to some regrets, such as not having more children and the end of her 27-year marriage. However, she remains curious about what the future holds and continues to be driven by her never-ending curiosity.

Looking ahead, Stewart has an array of projects in the pipeline, including an autobiography, a documentary on Netflix, a PBS documentary series, and collaborations with Samsung and French Dressing Jeans for a line of gardening clothes and accessories.
