Ronin, the EVM blockchain for gaming, has made waves in the industry with its groundbreaking collaboration with Ragnarok: Monster World, a unique strategy game that combines tower defense and monster collecting elements. This partnership marks a significant milestone for both entities as they bring the beloved Ragnarok Online universe into the blockchain gaming space.

Sky Mavis, the creator of the highly successful Axie Infinity, launched Ronin, which has already processed over $4 billion in NFT transactions and can handle millions of users daily for one game. On the other hand, Ragnarok, developed by South Korean gaming giant Gravity, has a massive following with over 167 million downloads across 122 territories.

Scheduled for release in Q3 2024, Ragnarok: Monster World is the creation of ZERO X AND (0x&), a Web3 development company dedicated to revolutionizing NFT gaming. With experience in popular Web2 titles like Blade for Kakao and Shot Online, ZERO X AND aims to bridge the gap between traditional and blockchain gaming audiences with this new game.

The collaboration between Ronin and Ragnarok signifies Ronin’s rapid growth since its inception in 2021. With approximately 17.6 million total wallet addresses, Ronin continues to prioritize scalability, with the upcoming launch of zkEVM. By partnering with industry leaders like Sky Mavis, Ronin aims to create a thriving ecosystem for blockchain gaming.
