Jewelry and Accessories Designer Rolly Robínson Celebrates 13th Collection Launch with Jungle Oasis Lunch Party
Rolly Robínson, the creative mind behind the jewelry line Isshī, recently celebrated the launch of their 13th collection with a unique and vibrant lunch party in New York City. The event, held at the Chinatown showroom of Blue Green Works, was a nod to Robínson’s love of fantasy and the outdoors, with a jungle oasis theme that transported guests to a whimsical world.
The lunch party, attended by seven close friends and collaborators, featured a menu of dim sum from a neighborhood favorite restaurant, Dim Sum Go Go. Dishes like golden-brown fried rice, vegetable dumplings, and string beans with sambal sauce delighted guests, while bubble-gum pink dumplings dyed with beet juice added a playful touch to the meal.
Guests were invited to touch and try on pieces from the Isshī collection, which included modular leather-cord necklaces, crystal-embellished bracelets, and hand-felted lamb’s-wool corsages inspired by carnivorous plants. The atmosphere was set with a playlist curated by Robínson, featuring disco anthems and beachy tunes that added to the festive mood.
As guests enjoyed the food and drinks, Robínson shared a toast, reflecting on the highs and lows of their life in the city and expressing gratitude for the support of their friends. The event was a true celebration of friendship, creativity, and the joy of coming together to mark a special occasion.
Robínson’s attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the party, from the carefully curated playlist to their own outfit, which included a striped dress paired with a plush chartreuse hat adorned with a dumpling-shaped pin. As Robínson put it, “Presentation is everything, and I don’t miss a detail, ever.”
Overall, the lunch party was a testament to Robínson’s unique vision and creative spirit, bringing together friends and collaborators to celebrate the launch of another stunning collection from Isshī.
