The city of Lviv in Ukraine was rocked by a devastating Russian attack that left seven people dead, including a mother and her three daughters. The attack, which involved drones and hypersonic missiles, also damaged dozens of buildings in the heart of the city.

The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, described the attack as a tragic event that resulted in the loss of innocent lives and the destruction of homes, schools, and clinics. He shared a heartbreaking picture of a local family, where only the father survived, while his wife and three daughters perished in their own home.

The Ukrainian air force reported that Russia fired 13 missiles and 29 attack drones during the assault, with some being intercepted by air defenses. The city of Poltava also suffered a deadly strike, with 53 people killed in a bombardment on a military institute.

President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attacks and called for more support from Ukraine’s Western allies to defend against further Russian aggression. The Ukrainian people rallied together in the face of tragedy, with hundreds donating blood to help the wounded.

As the country mourns the loss of life and assesses the damage caused by the attacks, President Zelensky continues to seek international assistance to protect Ukraine and support its efforts in the ongoing conflict with Russia.
