Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi has been hailed as a hero after helping a woman in distress on a bridge in Nashville, Tennessee. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department shared a video showing Bon Jovi and his team talking to a woman who was standing on the ledge of the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge over the Cumberland River.

Bon Jovi, 62, appeared to be shooting a music video on the bridge when he noticed the woman in distress. In the video released by police, Bon Jovi can be seen approaching the woman, waving hello, and eventually helping her back onto the bridge with the assistance of another woman.

The police department praised Bon Jovi and his team for their quick actions in persuading the woman to come off the ledge and ensuring her safety. After the woman was back on the bridge, Bon Jovi embraced her in a hug before leaving the scene.

“It takes all of us to help keep each other safe,” said Chief John Drake in a statement. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of looking out for one another and offering support in times of need.
