Sean “Diddy” Combs, the music icon and self-made entrepreneur, was arrested in New York on Monday, as confirmed by Fox News Digital. The charges against Diddy remain unclear, but his lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, expressed disappointment in what he believes is an unjust prosecution.

United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams, confirmed the arrest and mentioned a sealed indictment that will be unsealed in the morning. The US Attorney’s office shared that federal agents arrested Diddy based on the sealed indictment filed by the SDNY.
This arrest comes after Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided in connection to a federal human trafficking investigation in March. Homeland Security Investigations executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement partners.

In November, his ex-girlfriend Cassie accused him of rape, but the lawsuit was settled amicably the following day.
