The highly anticipated Bridgerton-themed ball in Detroit turned out to be a major disappointment for attendees, including TikToker Nita Morton. Expecting glamour and sophistication, guests were instead met with soggy noodles, chicken bones, and even a pole dancer at the event organized by Uncle & Me LLC.

Nita Morton, 25, expressed her disappointment, saying, “It was the worst event I’ve been to. My high school parties were better.” Attendees who paid nearly $200 for a ticket felt scammed as they found the food to be subpar and the entertainment lacking.

Guests in fancy ballgowns were left sitting on the floor due to a lack of chairs, and some even left early to grab food from McDonald’s or Burger King. The blunder has gone viral on social media, drawing comparisons to other infamous event flops like the Fyre festival and the Willy Wonka experience.

Despite Uncle & Me LLC issuing an apology and promising to address concerns, attendees like Nita feel they have been “gaslighted” and left in the dark. As fans await resolution, they can’t help but draw parallels to other failed events and wonder if a future Bridgerton ball will redeem the disappointing experience in Detroit.
