British Doctor Pleads Guilty to Attempted Murder After Poisoning Victim with Fake Covid Vaccine
A shocking case of attempted murder has emerged in Newcastle, England, where a British doctor disguised himself as a nurse to inject his mother’s partner with poison under the guise of a Covid-19 vaccine. Thomas Kwan, 53, pleaded guilty to the crime on Monday, admitting to the heinous act that left the victim with life-changing injuries.
Kwan went to great lengths to carry out his sinister plan, donning a wig, facial hair, and a medical mask to disguise himself during the injection. He even arranged a fake medical appointment with the victim, Patrick O’Hara, by sending him bogus letters claiming he needed a Covid vaccination. O’Hara, who developed a skin condition and became seriously ill after the injection, was left with extensive damage to his body, including a fatal flesh-eating bacterial infection called necrotizing fasciitis.
Police discovered that Kwan had installed fake license plates on his vehicle before driving to O’Hara’s home to administer the poisonous injection. They also found incriminating evidence on his computer, including downloads of a “poisoner’s handbook” and other files related to using poisons to kill a person.
Despite initially pleading not guilty, Kwan eventually admitted to the attempted murder charge. His sentencing will take place at a later date, and he remains in custody. Detective Chief Inspector Jason Henry of Northumbria Police expressed hope that Kwan’s conviction would bring some closure to the victim and help them move on with their life.
This disturbing case serves as a stark reminder of the lengths some individuals will go to in order to harm others, even those closest to them. The motive behind Kwan’s actions, believed to be related to his mother’s will, highlights the chilling nature of this crime and the devastating impact it had on the victim.
