Title: President Biden Called Out for False Claim of Being First in Family to Attend College
In a recent speech in Wisconsin, President Biden claimed to be the first in his family to attend college, sparking backlash from observant social media users who pointed out inconsistencies in his statement.
During the speech, Biden mentioned his experience as the first in his family to go to college while discussing student loan debt. However, digital strategist and conservative influencer Greg Price quickly called out the President for making a similar claim in a previous speech where he bragged about his grandfather playing college football.
Price shared a clip from a speech two years prior where Biden mentioned his grandfather’s college football career, contradicting his recent assertion of being the first in his family to attend college. This discrepancy was also highlighted by the RNC Research account, which pointed out that Biden had been caught making the same contradictory claims back in 1987 by The New York Times.
National Review senior writer Dan McLaughlin and The Federalist editor-in-chief Mollie Hemingway also joined the conversation, emphasizing that Biden’s false claim was not only a lie but one that he had been publicly caught telling nearly 40 years ago.
Former Republican Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee expressed frustration over Biden’s apparent ability to make such contradictory statements without facing consequences from the media. Conservative influencers “Chicks on The Right” and author Tim Murtaugh echoed similar sentiments, questioning the credibility of the President’s statements.
Fox News Digital reached out to the White House for comment on the matter. As the controversy continues to unfold, it raises questions about the accuracy of President Biden’s claims and the scrutiny he faces from both the public and the media.
