Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, once Hollywood’s golden couple, are set to face off in court as they finalize their divorce settlement after six years of deliberations. The former lovebirds, who tied the knot in July 2009 before splitting in 2018, have listed each other as witnesses in the upcoming trial.

In court documents filed on April 9 and obtained by Fox News Digital, Dewan is requesting Tatum to testify on various issues related to their marriage, including business and financial activities. Dewan has also called on Tatum’s business manager and accountant to testify in the hearing.

On the other hand, Tatum has listed Dewan and her fiancé, Steve Kazee, to testify regarding their cohabitation, joint expenses, and related matters. The trial, scheduled for April 12, will address the division of property, reimbursement claims, support, breach of fiduciary duty, and attorneys’ fees and costs.

The legal battle seems to revolve around the “Magic Mike” intellectual property, with Dewan claiming that Tatum has been reluctant to accept an equal division of the assets. Tatum’s attorneys, however, argue that he has put in extensive efforts to enhance the intellectual property post-separation, leading to his separate property interest in the assets.

The couple, who first met on the set of “Step Up” in 2006 and share a daughter named Everly, have been trying to resolve their issues for the past three years with the help of a retired judicial officer. Despite multiple settlement conferences and discussions, they have been unable to reach a resolution.

Dewan previously opened up about the reasons behind their split in her 2019 memoir, citing that the dynamic of their relationship was not serving her or their daughter. She emphasized the importance of surrounding oneself with supportive people during such challenging times.

As the high-profile divorce drama unfolds in court, fans and followers of the former couple eagerly await the outcome of the trial. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
