The Philadelphia 76ers were left fuming after a controversial no-call in their 108-107 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night. Sixers guard Kelly Oubre Jr. was driving to the basket in the final seconds of the game when he was seemingly fouled by Clippers star Paul George. However, no foul was called, leading to a heated exchange between Oubre, head coach Nick Nurse, and the NBA officials.

Referee Kevin Scott later admitted that there was contact on the play and that a foul should have been called. Oubre would have had the opportunity to win the game from the free-throw line with just 0.2 seconds remaining.

Despite the disappointment, Oubre apologized for his outburst and acknowledged that the referees are not perfect. The loss puts the 76ers at 39-34 overall, holding onto the No. 8 spot in the Eastern Conference as they continue to fight for a playoff berth.

The incident has sparked debate among fans and analysts, with many questioning the consistency of officiating in the NBA. The 76ers will look to bounce back from this tough loss as they push towards the postseason.
