A physical altercation between two men led to one man being stabbed in the upper body and rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
Shortly after, at about 2:20 a.m., officers responded to a local hospital where two women had been admitted with stab wounds. The victims had been involved in a physical altercation with another woman in downtown Long Beach, resulting in both victims being stabbed in the upper body. Fortunately, they were listed in stable condition.
The fourth stabbing was reported at around 3 a.m. in the same location as the second incident. A dispute between a group of women escalated when one suspect punched the victim, followed by another suspect stabbing the victim in the upper body. The victim managed to transport themselves to the hospital and was listed in stable condition.
Long Beach Police have increased their presence in the area following the stabbings, with additional patrol officers and Neighborhood Safety Bike Team officers engaging with residents and businesses.
