A tragic accident occurred in Honolulu, Hawaii, when a tour bus driver mistakenly pressed down on the gas pedal instead of the brakes, resulting in the vehicle crashing into two concrete barriers and eleven pedestrians at a cruise pier parking lot. The incident, which took place at 10:24 a.m. local time on Friday, led to one fatality and several injuries.

According to authorities, the 57-year-old male driver was dropping off customers at the pier when he was alerted by a bystander that his vehicle was moving forward. In a quick attempt to stop the bus, the driver re-entered the vehicle but mistakenly pressed the gas pedal, causing the tragic collision.
