The infamous white Ford Bronco, made famous during O.J. Simpson’s police chase in 1994, is now a prominent exhibit at a privately owned museum. The museum, which opened in 2016 after a similar crime museum closed in Washington, has attracted a lot of attention due to the inclusion of the iconic vehicle.

The Bronco, which belonged to Simpson’s friend and former teammate Al Cowlings, was driven at about 40 miles per hour as Simpson fled from the police. The car was featured on a 2017 episode of the reality TV show “Pawn Stars,” where Mike Gilbert, a former agent for Simpson, tried to sell it for over $1 million.

The museum has not disclosed who allowed for the display of the car, citing privacy concerns. However, museum spokesperson Pennington mentioned that different generations have different responses to seeing the Bronco, as it holds a significant place in history.

Despite the attention the Bronco receives, the museum remains focused on the victims of the crimes featured in its exhibits. The recent death of O.J. Simpson has prompted the museum to acknowledge his passing with a label next to the Bronco, which displays a set of his golf clubs.

Visitors to the museum have varied reactions to seeing the Bronco, with some reminiscing about the Simpson trial and the debates surrounding his guilt. One visitor from Northern Kentucky described his visit as “ironic timing,” given the recent news of Simpson’s death.

The inclusion of the Bronco in the museum’s exhibits serves as a reminder of a significant moment in history, sparking discussions and reflections on the events surrounding O.J. Simpson’s infamous police chase.
