Wireless Festival Ends Early to Allow Fans to Watch Euro 2024 Final

Wireless festival, known for its three-day lineup of rap, R&B, and hip-hop acts in Finsbury Park, London, has announced that it will be ending early on Sunday to give fans “plenty of time to travel home” and watch the Euro 2024 final between England and Spain.

The decision to bring forward Sunday headliner Doja Cat’s set to finish at 19:00 BST, an hour before the football match kicks off at 20:00, has sparked mixed reactions from festivalgoers. While some expressed disappointment at the early end time and questioned why the game couldn’t be shown on big screens at the festival, others supported the move to accommodate fans who want to catch the highly anticipated final.

Despite the schedule change, Wireless organizers have yet to announce replacement acts for Tyla and Digga D, who have pulled out of their Sunday performances. Rapper Digga D is currently facing drug charges, while South African artist Tyla had to cancel her world tour earlier this year due to a serious injury.

In addition to the lineup changes, Wireless has also implemented a ban on single-use disposable vapes at the festival, with the possibility of confiscation for those who bring them in. The festival, which attracts around 50,000 fans each year, has promised surprise acts over the course of the weekend, adding to the excitement for attendees.

With big names like Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, J Hus, and Sean Paul set to take the stage, Wireless Festival is gearing up for another unforgettable weekend of music and entertainment.
