Hollywood heartthrob Zac Efron sparked concern on Friday after being hospitalized in Spain following a “minor swimming incident” at his Ibiza villa. The 36-year-old actor’s representative assured fans that Efron is “fine” and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
According to TMZ, Efron was found in the pool by villa staff and was pulled out of the water. Just the night before the incident, Efron was seen in good spirits, partying at the Ushuaïa Ibiza Hotel and Beach Club, where he danced on stage with DJ Martin Garrix.
Efron, known for his roles in “High School Musical” and “A Family Affair,” has been enjoying his summer in various cities, including Paris and St. Tropez. The actor has also been open about his journey to sobriety, emphasizing the importance of balance and self-care in his life.
Despite the incident, there is no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved. A representative for Efron has not yet responded to requests for comment.
